About Island Pyrochemical Industries (IPI)

ISLAND PYROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES CORP, (IPI) established in 1982, is a global manufacturer and supplier of specialty chemicals and related materials, supplying the highest quality products to an international customer base.

IPI’s worldwide headquarters are based in Long Island, New York, USA. We operate two manufacturing locations, Island Polymer Group in Wolfen, Germany, which produces triacetate film and ethyl cellulose film, and Island Veer Chemie, located in Hyderabad, India, which manufactures specialty intermediary chemicals for pharmaceutical, industrial and airbag propellant manufacture.

In Beijing, China, IPI operates a separate division, IPI Beijing Chemical Company Ltd, which is responsible for both the marketing and the sales of IPI-produced materials, as well as the procurement and development of products, within the Chinese mainland market.

Each of IPI’s facilities is run with quality and efficiency as the top priorities, and each location is certified to ISO 9001:2000 operating standards. We continually strive to improve upon each facility and to expand our product offering capabilities through dedicated Research and Development Departments at each manufacturing site.
