IPI manufactures Ethyl Cellulose tape using our unique solvent cast film process. IPI's ethyl cellulose tape possesses the highest quality surface finish and chemical stability which are unmatched in the industry. IPI’s tape meets or exceeds the requirements of specification MIL-T-18833 and MIL-F-63463, as well as many other international military specifications.

IPI manufactures various ethyl cellulose compounds suitable for injection molding and film extrusion for both military and civilian purposes.
Our manufacturing capabilities include the sensitive plasticizing of Ethyl Cellulose Powder with P-1099 plasticizer. IPI manufactures the plasticizer to ensure a high quality, reliable product. Our compounds meet all the military specifications including MIL-P-22985 and MIL-P-63462.
IPI also offers a Flame-Suppressant Ethyl Cellulose, which when incorporated within the rocket propulsion system, is able to suppress the ignition plume at the time of launching.
