Desciption: Acetonitrile is a colorless liquid. It's main use is in the production on butadiene, where it is used as a polar aprotic solvent for purification.

Uses: Acentonitrile is used in the manufacturing of batteries thanks to its dielectic constant, and as a solvent in the production of photographic film.
